TRAFFIC INVESTIGATION: SEWARD/BENSON

UPDATE: At approximately 3:04 a.m., APD Dispatch received multiple calls reporting a female lying on the roadway near the intersection of East Benson Boulevard and the Seward Highway.  Witnesses reported that the adult female had been struck by a vehicle, which fled the scene.

The female was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Officers later located the vehicle, and the driver subsequently self-reported to APD.

This is an ongoing investigation.
