Fix it ticket - proof of insurance
No need to come downtown for this type of correctable citation. Correctable citations for Proof Of Insurance violations can be addressed by sending an email with the following information to APDFixItTickets@muni.org within 30 days of the issue date on the citation.
Send the Email to: APDFixItTickets@muni.org
Email Subject Line: Your Last Name & Citation Number (if you need help finding the citation number call 786-8600)
Email Message: Include ONLY the citation number, your last name and attach the proof of insurance. Do not send an image of the citation or any other personal information. (It is never a good idea to electronically transmit any kind of personal identifiable information, even to the police.)
APD personnel will confirm the date and time your insurance coverage was obtained and notify you via email reply when the proof of insurance has been verified.
The proof of insurance you provide must show you had insurance AT THE TIME your ticket was issued.
Obtaining insurance any time AFTER the citation was issued will not be considered, even if it's the same day.
The 30 days referenced in the “CORRECTABLE" section of the citation means the person issued the citation has 30 days to provide proof that the vehicle was insured at the time the citation was issued.
It does NOT mean a person issued the citation can purchase insurance within 30 days to have the citation corrected.
If the time allotted to correct the citation has expired, the citation is no longer under the purview of APD and must be addressed directly with the traffic court.

No need to come downtown for this type of correctable citation. Correctable citations for license plate violations can be addressed by sending an email with the following information to APDFixItTickets@muni.org within 30 days of the issue date on the citation.

Email Message: Include ONLY the citation number, your last name and attach an image of the license plate on the vehicle. Do not send an image of the citation or any other personal information. (It is never a good idea to electronically transmit any kind of personal identifiable information, even to the police.)

No need to come downtown for this type of correctable citation. Correctable citations for headlight/taillight violations can be addressed by sending an email with the following information to APDFixItTickets@muni.org within 30 days of the issue date on the citation.

Email Subject Line: Your Last Name & Citation Number (if you need help finding the citation number call 786-8600)
Email Message: Include ONLY the citation number, your last name and attach an image showing the vehicle with its lights on. The license plate must be visible in the picture. Do not send an image of the citation or any other personal information. (It is never a good idea to electronically transmit any kind of personal identifiable information, even to the police.)
APD personnel will confirm the headlight/taillight is fixed and on the correct vehicle and notify you by email when it has been verified.
The 30 days referenced in the “CORRECTABLE" section of the citation means the person issued the citation has 30 days to provide proof that the vehicle has a license plate attached in the proper location.

Email Message: Include ONLY the citation number, your last name and attach an image of the vehicle’s registration issued by the DMV and a photo of the rear license plate with the new sticker on your vehicle. Do not send an image of the citation or any other personal information. (It is never a good idea to electronically transmit any kind of personal identifiable information, even to the police.)
APD personnel will confirm the registration and notify you by email when it has been verified.
