TRAFFIC FATALITY: E Tudor RD./ MacInnes St.

ROAD CLOSURES: Westbound E Tudor Rd is closed between MacInnes St and Lake Otis Pkwy while investigators with the Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) process the scene. Please use alternative routes.
NARRATIVE:
On February 18, 2025, at 8:44 PM, Anchorage Police Department (APD) officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Tudor Road near MacInnes Street. Upon arrival, the Anchorage Fire Department (AFD) pronounced the adult female pedestrian deceased at the scene.
The Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) is currently investigating. Any witnesses who have not yet been in contact with APD, or drivers from that area around that timeframe with in car video footage are asked to contact Sgt. David Noll at david.noll@anchorageak.gov.
The juvenile driver remained at the scene and cooperated fully with officers. No arrests have been made at this time, and next-of-kin notification procedures are currently underway.
