Death Investigation at E 42nd Avenue and Florina Street

At 12:41 PM on August 10, 2024, Anchorage Police Day Shift Patrol Officers and Anchorage Fire Department Medics responded to E 42nd Avenue and Florina Street regarding an unresponsive adult male outside.  Life-saving measures were administered but ultimately the male was declared deceased.  Officers made observations at the scene which has prompted a closer look regarding the circumstances surrounding the death.  There will be a police presence in the area while this occurs.
