At 12:39 PM on September 19, 2024, Anchorage Police responded to E 42nd Avenue and Piper Street regarding an adult male with obvious injuries to the upper body.  AFD Medics arrived at the scene first; they transported the victim to a local hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.
